Started by the Louis-S. St-Laurent National Historic Site Companions in Compton, the Week-end des saveurs (Weekend with a Country Flavour) is a gastronomic activity promoting the products and producers of the greater Coaticook area.

For two days, visitors can sample gastronomical delights created and prepared by local producers, who will be on site to welcome visitors and provide them with information.

Week-end activities:

• The event is held in the magnificent gardens of the Louis-S. St-Laurent National Historic Site of Canada in Compton, where two gigantic tents have been set up for the occasion.
• Upon arrival, visitors will receive a menu listing the producers and the samples offered, along with a plate and utensils. They will then be able to purchase a series of coupons to exchange for samples from the producers of their choice.
• A second tent with a bar, tables and chairs will be provided so that visitors can enjoy their culinary delights to the sound of background music.
• Regional products are also offered for sale at each producer’s stand.
