La Bergerie du Lys Sheep Farm is located in the beautiful Coaticook countryside.
It was established in 2001 by mother and son Lise Audet and Joël de la Bruère. In the fall of 2006, the sheep farm was taken over by Mélanie Charest and Joel de La Bruère.
Bergerie du Lys Sheep Farm produces approximately 200 lambs a year. These lambs are a hardy breed and are fed as naturally as possible to produce fat-free meat.
The ewes are outside with their lambs from May to October. They peacefully enjoy grass and fresh water in the pens. At night, for their safety, they are kept in the sheep barn, where they find feed and a good night’s rest.
By purchasing your lamb at the Bergerie du Lys Sheep Farm (whole, half or in cuts), you are sure to have excellent quality, flavourful, fresh lamb. Taste it—you’ll love it.
