Philippe Brugier, a duck foie gras artisan, brought his expertise from France, where he first discovered his passion, and modestly set up Ducs de Montrichard 1995 in Mont St-Grégoire in Quebec's Montérégie region. He chose “Ducs” for ducks and “Montrichard” because it is the foie gras capital in the Touraine region of France, where Philippe learned the techniques for feeding ducks.
In addition to our famous duck foie gras, we offer rillettes and pâtés, foie gras mousse, prepared dishes and many other excellent products.

This traditional, family-run company uses old-fashioned techniques to prepare refined products such as rillettes and wild game pâtés. Our fresh products include drumstick and thigh preserves, fillets and gizzards, duck cutlets and smoked duck cutlets. Our specialty: Authentic Foie Gras au torchon.
