In the mid 60s, la Ferme Wera introduced the pick-your-own-strawberries concept. When the farm was transferred from Joseph Wera to Richard and Yvonne in 1985, vegetables were added to the pick-your-own offerings.

Seasonal availability:

June and July: strawberries.

August and September: tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, gherkins, beans, onions, leek, beets, carrots, rutabagas and zucchinis.

October and November: Squash, pumpkins, leeks and rutabagas.

Pick-your-own at the farm 7 days a week in season, except in bad weather.

Strawberries: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Vegetables: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
